Financial Planning, Trust Account Investment Management, and Trust administration support.
A well-drafted trust is only half the work. The other half is what happens when the trust actually has to operate — when the trustee files taxes, makes discretionary distributions, manages the trust portfolio, communicates with beneficiaries, and documents every decision against the trust language and applicable state law. Many families discover that it takes a coordinated team of professionals to support the successful execution of a trust.
Williams Wealth Management is an investment advisor — not a trust company. We do not serve as trustee. Where a corporate trustee is appropriate, we coordinate with Fidelity Personal Trust Company or another independent trust entity, and we help families and their trustees run the plan the estate-planning attorney drafted.
Trust Support is currently available to households that custody with Fidelity, which today is the vast majority of Williams Wealth Management client relationships. The corporate trustee itself may be Fidelity Personal Trust Company or another independent trust entity depending on the trust’s size, purpose, and beneficiary needs — Fidelity’s minimums and service model do not fit every situation.
